The leadership of the faculty and staff is superior! Parent involvement is remarkable and the children are held to high expectations of learning by parents and teachers alike.”

“We have one child at CSLA in 7th and one that has gone onto CSAS for high school. We have one that will be starting kindergarten in Fall 2007. We were lucky enough to be accepted when my oldest child was starting kindergarten and our children have attended no other schools, but we have looked to make sure our children were receiving the best education available (and there are many options in Chattanooga). We feel very strongly that they are in the best place for them! The entire philosphy of the school has made it one that we would not have wanted our children to miss as part of their educational experience. There are many good options in the public system in Chattanooga and many good teachers in this system and our children have been fortunate enough to have had many of them as teachers at CSLA.”

We were drawn to the school because of their hands-on curriculum, one that seems very different from other public schools. They place an emphasis on parental involvement, which is very important, as well as helpful for the children. There are a variety of extra-curricular activities offered, as well as plentiful field trips where children learn outside the classroom. I am also pleased that foreign language is started in kindergarten, which you don't find in other schools. We have been extremely pleased with CSLA.”
